A few helpful details
The more you tell us, the more useful our answer can be. Something like “six Sebastopol eggs sometime this spring, and I'm happy to drive out” will get you a real answer the very same day.
Eggs and goslings
- Which breed you have your heart set on — Sebastopol, Embden, Toulouse, Bresse, or a mixed duck or chicken assortment.
- Hatching eggs, or started goslings once they're grown enough to travel.
- How many, and roughly when you'd like them.
- Whether you'll be picking up, or would like to ask about shipping.
Flowers and tubers
- Cut flowers or tubers — they come around at opposite ends of the season.
- The date you need them, if you have one in mind.
- Single stems, mixed bunches, or a bucket for your own arranging.
Cattle
- Registered breeding stock, Shorthorn Plus, or a club calf.
- What you're hoping the animal will do, and when you'd need it.
