A few helpful details
The more you share in your note, the more helpful we can be. Something like “six Sebastopol eggs sometime this spring, and I'm happy to drive out” tells us exactly what to save for you.
Eggs and goslings
- Which breed you have your heart set on: Sebastopol, Embden, Toulouse, Bresse, or a mixed duck or chicken assortment.
- Hatching eggs, or started goslings once they're grown enough to travel.
- How many, and roughly when you'd like them.
- Whether you'll be picking up, or would like to ask about shipping.
Flowers and tubers
- Cut flowers or tubers. They come around at opposite ends of the season.
- The date you need them, if you have one in mind.
- Single stems, mixed bunches, or a bucket for your own arranging.
Cattle
- Registered breeding stock, Shorthorn Plus, or a club calf.
- What you're hoping the animal will do, and when you'd need it.
We're a small family farm rather than an office, so if we're out with the birds when your note arrives, we'll get back to you just as soon as we're in.
